  • develop self-confidence and valuable life skills including the ability to work to deadlines, honour commitments and build positive relationships with peers and professionals.
  • become confident choreographers and dance leaders; advanced students have the chance to assist our specialist teaching staff and deliver workshops that inspire young people.

Fees can be paid annually, in 3 termly instalments or 6 half termly installments.

Students must be attending a main class to qualify for entry into the performance group Elevate.

YDT also offers intensive sessions during weekends and school holidays. See the news page for announcements.

YDT offers full or half day workshops in schools for key stages 1-5 that can be tailored to meet the needs of the curriculum or inspired by one of the works in our current repertoire. In addition YDT staff can also provide continuing professional development sessions for teachers and support staff in schools. Contact Sarah Morgan to discuss a bespoke workshop or training package.
